Collection: Picture Soaps
Each picture soap starts with a drawing that is carefully cut into pieces on the computer using various programs and turned into scrapers thanks to my 3D printer. Some soaps require 3 scrapers, some 15 or more. Printing these scrapers takes a lot of time and patience as well because my printer likes to surprise me more often then not. I have to babysit each print. Once I have my tools printed, I start the tedious process of calculating each pour and calculating each color. Sometimes, if I am trying to match an exact color, an extra soap needs to be made to experiment with different hues. Once all the prep work is done I can actually do what I like best, making soap. Each scraper means a separate pour of soap and that also takes lot of time and patience. Next day I find out if my idea worked out. The first cut is always very exciting. The picture soaps are made in batches of 9-30 soaps. The price range of these soaps vary according to the difficulty of making a given soap. I hope you will appreciate these small pieces of art and that they will brighten your day, every time you use them. Thank you for your support.
